Rs 127.60 crore released for Yeluru project, says AP minister

Rajahmundry (AP): The Andhra Pradesh Major and Medium Irrigation Minister P Sudharshan Reddy said here yesterday that Rs 127.60 crore has been released for modernisation of the Yeluru project reservoir in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
The minister held a meeting with Union Minister M M Pallam Raju at Hyderabad, an official release said here yesterday."Rs 127.60 crore has been released for modernisation of Yeluru reservoir in East Godavari district," Reddy said, adding that 64,000 acres of crop would benefit.He urged officials complete the work in time to prevent human loss and crop damage.
