Boost to tourism Shilparamams in all AP districts

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked the officials to identify lands to set up Shilparamams in every district headquarters and municipal corporations in the State.

Reviewing the tourism sector at CM Camp Office here on Friday, he said the State’s tourism projects would be developed in Public Private Partnership (PPP) or Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) mode. He said the government would build three mega convention centres at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati apart from promoting beach tourism. Spiritual tourism could be promoted through Art of Living and centres of Baba Ramdev, apart from promoting boating from Rajahmundry to Suryalanka, he added. Asking to promote Kuchipudi as a brand, he directed the officials to ensure local festivals were celebrated with fervour.
