Bio-Andhra from October 16 to 18
KAKINADA: The first International conference on Marine and Agricultural Biotechnology will be held from October 16 to 18 here at Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Kakinada. The theme is ‘Grow Idea’. JNTUK vice chancellor Dr G Tulasi Ram Das said that the Bio-conference meet would give an opportunity to the students who have talent. He said that many students are coming forward to reveal their ideas and submit to the university. He said that the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and the Union HRD Smriti Irani will participate in the inauguration function to unveil its Life Sciences and Biotech Policy for the new government. Union Minister Nirmala Seetharaman will attend in valedictory day of the conference. About 1,000 scientists and experts in marine, agriculture and biotechnology fields will attend.
